What Is A Bong?

 

Bong is a device that is typically used to consume a natural herb, oil, or buds (hemp, cannabis, and more) through smoking or vaping. Bong is a long tube sealed at one end with usually two or three openings. The one opening on one end of the tube is for the mouth; one is for the bowl where the herbs are burned, and the other is a speed-hole (covered or uncovered) that allows the chamber to fill with smoke. 

 

Bongs contain several parts, which include a stem, a bowl, a downstream, and a base into which water is stored. After you pack your herb or substance into the bowl and light up, a deep inhalation will draw the smoke through the stem or downstream, through the water, and up the tube- the trunk and into your mouth. 

 

Parts Of A Bong:

 

Before you start using a bong, it is important to know about its different parts so that you can access the bong in the right way. Take a look!

 

1. Mouthpiece:

This is the opening at the top of your bong. You will be required to put your lips inside the mouthpiece to smoke the bong. 

 

2. Chamber:

The tube extending down from the mouthpiece is known as the chamber. This is the place where water and ice descend at the time of setup, and the hits ascend as you vape. 

 

3. Base:

The base is the place where the chamber opens up – this is the place water sits to cool down the smoker. 

 

4. Stem:

From the base, a tube is attached that is known as the stem. The stem that resides inside of the bowl is called the downstream. 

 

5. Bowl:

The bowl is a small cup that sits on the stem outside of the bong. This bowl is covered or packed with your preferred herb or any substance.
